I finally finished a painting, which I thought about for a while. I saw a seascape photo and I liked the way the sky and the sea looked like, but I needed a different coastline to suit my taste. I finally found a picture I took a long time ago and it reminded me of the Michigan City light house, a subject of several of my paintings. I liked the idea of using it in this painting as the coast line to complete my design. After trying out several views of the scene I finally settled on the one in the painting. I like my results.
